Yeah, I'll transfer this into the ideas folder tommorow, right now I'm getting this annoying 'browser isn't supported' message and I have to update my stuff.
Aaannnnyyyways this is about how the bad guys, turn into the good guys and actually become the new freedom fighters on a post-apocalyptic Mobius. Of course, knowing me, the leader (or rather one of them) would be Fiona.
Aaaaannnnndddddd another idea...
Eggman was finally dead...
...but at what cost?
Sonic was dead, disintegrated by the same explosion that killed the doctor that fateful night out in space on the final Egg Carrier ever built, and destroyed.
Sally and Nicole were as well.
Even Antoine and Bunnie, away on their honeymoon to the Dragon Kingdom, and the people there were dead due to the massive carpet bombings that had occurred.
The only people left alive were they who escaped, and they who thought they were evil.
Almost all of them had a part in the final battle, and they all looked out onto the now burning, half destroyed planet which they used to call home...
Fiona and her friends...
The Babylon rogues and their kinsmen...
Some who had escaped prisons to fight against the freedom fighters...
Mammoth Mogul and his apprentices...
Even heroes and heroine, and villains from other zones had taken part...
But now they all stared in shock at what had happened.
Some, like the Moebians and Rogues stood atop the ruins of recently crashed air and space-craft.
Others from the sky, space, and the highest points they could reach from the ground. Just to see what exactly had happened.
In a fit of primal rage at losing once again, the frail old doctor known previously as Robotnik had unleashed entire arsenals of missiles and bombs from flying craft and various silos around the world at his monstrous robot factories.
...and now all was laid to waste.
...humans had been entirely wiped out, along with many other species.
Only a few freedom fighters were left standing, including one Miles Prower.
...but he was gone as well, even if in a different way.
Sonic and his friends were dead.
The good people of Mobotropolis and Station Square were wiped out entirely in the first set of attacks.
His parents were gone.
Almost all of his friends were gone.
Even Uncle Merlin and his distant relatives from Chun Nan were gone.
Dead.
Deceased.
Obliterated, and scattered to the wind.
He had even watched as the ship carrying his past love, Fiona, and the few people left that he actually knew personally fell into the sea alongside the now crumbling Angel Island.
But now, as he could feel the heat of the explosions and the raging fires reflecting off of his unclosing eyes, some thing changed.
Something cracked.
The old Tails was gone, no longer was he the follower, but the only one able to lead.
The only person who was still strong.
He still hadn't lost everyone, because he still had himself.
And that meant that he would do anything to protect himself, and the few survivors he could find.

As Miles walked through the slowly flooding carcass of the massive air fleet, he found too many numerous bodies to count. The only one he recognized was that of his Moebian counterpart.
And then he saw her.
Fiona was running at him, tears streaming, arms outstretched for an embrace that nearly knocked the hardened fox over as she came into his arms after so long.
After a minute of crying, she lifted her head up and was about to say something to the now slightly taller golden fox, but he only put a finger against her lips.
There was no reason for speech, they both knew what had happened.
They only kissed as they slowly felt the world crumble away from them as the sun slowly set...
"I love you, and I will never, Ever let anything like this happen again......."

That was three years ago.
Fiona remembered his words to her as she felt her head tugged up from the mud forcefully by her hair, and looked into the same fox's eyes again.
Only now, his eyes were full of evil, tyrannical fire of a mad man.
"Will you finally give up this charade and join me, Fiona? Even for love long lost?"
All Fiona heard the next second was the roar of her friends as they all ran up to meet the dictator and his army of brain-washed soldiers.
The red velvet fox only smirked. "Not likely, today at least!"
The feeling of being a Freedom Fighter had returned.
And so that's it, and no, I'm going to finish off my current stories before making this into an actual fic. I mean, I just need to get it down somewhere I wont lost it, right?
